18 is happy to announce that
the highly-reputed American
triathlon magazine
Inside Triathlon has
dedicated it's March issue
front cover to World
Triathlon Champion Samantha
McGlone.
Every year, the March issue
is particularly popular
because it includes the
annual buyers' guide
section. This time around,
Samantha's equipment is
featured in a detailed
pictorial on pages 26-27.

throughout 2006 amply
justify her front-page
status. Chosen as Triathlete
of the year by Triathlon
Canada, she confirmed her
athletic prowess with
resounding victories in the
Wildflower Half-Ironman, the
Cornerbrook ITU World Cup as
well as the Accenture
Chicago Triathlon.
To top off this dream
season, she put in a
benchmark performance at the
Ironman 70.3 race in
Clearwater, Florida,
becoming the first-ever
World Champion at this new
event.
Samantha is presently in
Australia, preparing for the
2007 season, the highlight
of which will be the Ironman
World Championship in Kona,
Hawaii.
